Purple Smoothie
Two weeks ago I tried the famous “Frullato al verde di Irlanda“, which has become a classic in my home; since then I’ve never stopped trying and blending, with more or less success. What I propose is a part, in my opinion, of the “more”, but you’ll tell me…
I got into the habit, as suggested by Babi, to keep in freezer some fruit cut into pieces, which I blend when I need to.

Ingredients:
(makes 3 cups)
2 pears, peeled, chopped (from freezer)
1 beetroot peeled raw (or cooked, why not?)
1 cube of frozen spinach
1 cup water
Method:
Put water in a blender and add the ingredients gradually. Dilute with water if necessary to reach the desired consistency.
Try it, it is amazing!














I like this way to make fresh smoothies in summer! And colors in the picture are… WOW!
