Chickpea pâté
A tasty dip of easy and fast preparation you can spread on bread, dip crudités in or enjoy as you prefer. It was made up by my husband in a creative moment inspired by.. a can of chickpeas, a lonely survivor in our cupboard..
Ingredients
1 leek
1 can of chickpeas
water
A pinch of salt
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Method
Slice a leek, sauté until golden in a pan with olive oil. Drain chickpeas, stir in with leek, add half a cup of water and simmer for 30 minutes on low flame. Blend and add salt to taste. Ready to taste!
