Seitan Stew with Potatoes


Hi guys! I haven’t been posting anything for a long time and I take this opportunity today to give you also a good news: I’m vegan again 😀 it’s a month now. I’m so happy!
Unfortunately, I’m still not very well, I will start in February a new cycle of treatments and hope to recover soon …
Now, I post this and some other recipes, hoping you’ll enjoy them!

150 gr of seitan
a can of tomato sauce
3/4 small potatoes
extra virgin olive oil
onion and garlic
whole salt and pepper, to taste

Fry onion and garlic, chopped, in olive oil.
When the onion gets golden, add tomato sauce, diced potatoes (boil them a little first), and seitan, cut into pieces.
Cook for 20 minutes over a low heat. Add salt and pepper to taste.
This is a picture of the stew while cooking.

The sauce should get nice and thick, so youn can mop it up with bread!!!!
I made it for Milo and he really liked it 🙂

    Yes, I like it! My Grandma used to do it with cruel ingredients… she also added some bay leaves as far as I remember

    Yep, a sort of classic dish from, I’d say, Italian cuisine. Revised of course but more & more delicious since it’s cruelty free!
