How nice is to wake up, look out the window and see everything covered in snow? ![]()
This was one of those beautiful mornings, but since my love is in Spain and will be back only on Saturday, to cheer me up a bit I had breakfast with a nice banana-coconut smoothie, and I decided to whet myself with some sweet raw pellets!
I had fun preparing them, fast and easy! Since I wanted to try something he would like as well, I opened my pantry and I chose the following :
Ingredients:
(serves 1 – makes 4 pellets)
3 walnuts
1 handful of peanuts (to be shelled)
3 tablespoons of sunflower seeds
flaked coconut
Method:
I just put all the ingredients in the food processor and processed them until they became homogeneous.
Then, I shaped the dough into pellets, which I then passed in flaked coconut. Now they’re on the radiator to get dry, I’me gonna leave them until tonight.
I take this opportunity to show you part of my garden, all nicely whitened ![]()
Also the title is in French (“nuts in the snow”
) because now I have to study Zola, Baudelaire and etc … but who can draw me away from the cooker?

I was forgetting to thank all the Raw-chefs who, with their fantastic recipes, made me realise that cooking doesn’t need the hob

Well, as a woman… Thanks for the sweet thought
they seem really good! And the pictures under the snow are so nice!
They must be so tasty and healthy as well… actually if you replace peanuts with almonds or pistachios they become even more healthy – peanut is not one of the best nuts
