Cheesy White Sauce

I love the taste of nutritional yeast flakes, and this white sauce, similar in flavor to melted cheese… now I use it everywhere …. With gnocchi, I put it in vegetables and baked pasta dishes, on boiled asparagus… in short, I just fell in love with it, I find it delicious, richer and more flavorful than the traditional. Easy peasy to prepare!

Ingredients:
500 ml of water
70 gr of all purpose flour
50 gr of nutritiona yeast flakes
┬Ż teaspoon of garlic powder
5 gr of salt (about 1 teaspoon)
1 teaspoon of mustard
60 ml of sunflower oil

Method:
Mix all the dry ingredients (flour, yeast, garlic, salt) in a saucepan, add water, stirring with a whisk to avoid lumps. Cook over a medium heat, stirring constantly until it reaches the boil and thickens, and then for 1 minute longer.
Remove from heat and add mustard and oil, stirring well, and serve.
