Curried Tofu with Onions and Turmeric

Here I am, back again. Fortunately, there are millions of millions of brand new and talented chefs (whom I greet), who run this wonderful “virtual restaurant”.

Ingredients:
1 package of tofu (or self-produced tofu with 1.3 liters of soy milk)
1 / 2 white onion
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon of curry powder
1 teaspoon of turmeric
vegetable broth

Method:
Extremely easy: first, simmer the tofu in water few minutes, and then set it aside.
Meanwhile, sauté the onion in oil until it is well softened; then, add the tofu, diced or whole, sprinkle with curry powder and turmeric and add 1 small glass of vegetable broth (or 1 small glass of water and the right amount of granular broth).
Let it cook until the broth has been absorbed.
In the photo, is tucked in one of my obentos, a bit “kawaii”, which I bring to work;  comes with white rice and it’s decorated with some excellent radish sprouts.

    that’s a great idea for a lunchbox. I think it’s something similar to what they call “scrambled tofu”

    I have tofu this way quite often, never get tired of it. Also, I sprinkle a bit of ground white pepper
