Special Hummous

Good morning to all, my dear! This hummous is special for many reasons… but I’m not going to reveal them :-)! Try to find them out by yourself; in the meantime I post the recipe, that was very much appreciated, also for the combination with the orange zest. I would live of hummus, you can create each sort of varation, so let the vegan fantasy rule! 🙂

Ingredients:
100 gr of boiled chickpeas
1/2 small red onion
1/2 lemon, squeezed
extra virgin olive oil, to taste
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
organic orange peel

Method:
Easy, blend all ingredients in a food processor, if it comes out too thick, add a few tablespoons of water. Set some chickpeas aside and a few slices of onion, for garnish. If you have two lettuce leaves, you can add them, to give a bit of colour. Lay a pastry ring on a plate, I found this one which is amazing, fill it with hummus, pressing it well inside. Gently remove the ring, decorate with the remaining chickpeas and onion slices. With the approprate gadget, grate the orange zest on the plate. A delicious mix of  flavours… the hummus should not be too soft, otherwise you won’t remove the ring too easily! 🙂 🙂 A kiss, my dear…

    I like the idea of adding orange zest – also, I noticed you didn’t used tahini, this makes it lighter. I’ll try it out
