Seitan “all’Ammiraglia”

A curious and unusual recipe, which gives to the seitan a very special flavour, very good.

Ingredients:
seitan (homemade or bought)
1 glass of apple cider vinegar
1 lemon
extra virgin olive oil
1 clove of garlic
parsley
pepper

Method:
Thinly slice the seitan, put it in a container and add the vinegar, cover and let “cook” for 1 hour.

After a hour, discard the vinegar and rinse the seitan under cold water, then season it with oil, garlic, parsley and pepper (if you want to overdo and if you like the flavor, you may add 1 pinch of seaweed)

done? Well, now let it flavor (at least) 1/2 day in the fridge, serve it chilled with potatoes (I used the red ones), boiled and seasoned with olive oil, salt and dill.

    I like the idea – seems very refreshing and summery. I don’t have a lot of seitan actually, but I’ll try this out
