Description: Hi everybody! I'm Lorena, I love cooking and I like to create things with my hands, because I feel satisfaction in seeing and/or feeling with the other senses the result of what I do, and more than any other activity cooking is what gets all the senses involved: you can touch, watch, smell, listen and taste the ingredients! I love music also, I paly the guitar and I think that the act of playing is “making something with the hands”, even if in this case it's invisible! I like tailoring also, and it's beautiful to see how from an almost shapeless piece of fabric you can get a unique piece of clothing that suits only yourself. I have a degree in Oriental Languages and Civilizations, and I specialized in Indian studies, so I'm fond of everything connected to India, and of course Indian cuisine (with the appropriate replacements) has much to offer to vegan cooking! At the moment I don't have a regular job, my only regular activities are teaching Indian philosophies in a yoga foundation and volunteering in a fair trade shop. I chose to become vegan for ethical reasons, and for me it's a long journey. I don't expect myself to be perfect and consistent in every thing, but I try to do my best!
