Indian cardamom tea


I drunk it some years ago at an indian restaurant, I “veganised” it with barley milk!

Ingredients for 2 cup of tea:
5 cardamom pods
2 teaspoons of darjeliing black tea
1/4 of lemon peel
1/4 of orange peel
vegetal milk (I used barley’s one, my favourite)

Boil the cardamom pods in a saucepan for 10 minutes. Then remove it from the heat and leave it to settle for other 10 minutes. Warm up again and add the black tea and the peels. Leave it to rest again for 5 minutes. Add brown sugar and milk at will. I prefer it hot, but you can try it cold as well!

Cardamom is good for liver and intestine… so try it!
