Seitan Hearts
Ingredients:
1 package of seitan – chopped
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
2 cloves garlic – minced
2 tbsp oatmeal
2 tbsp cornstarch
parsley – chopped
breadcrumbs
nutritional yeast
salt and pepper
Method:
Place all ingredients in food processor, then add a good dose of breadcrumbs and nutritional yeast flakes to reach the right consistency.
Add a drop of water if necessary. You should be able to work with your hands, just like a dough.
At this point you can make meatballs and fill them with veggies or shape them into hearts using buscuit cutters. Roll into a plate of breadcrumbs and fry!
