SuperEasy Ice Cream
This ice cream has a sweet and delicate flavour, and it really melts in the mouth!
Ingredients (serves 2):
10 ripe figs
3 ripe bananas
Method:
Peel the bananas and cut them in 2-3 cm slices and trim off the fig stems. Freeze both for at least 6 hours (about one night long). Take out of the freezer, put the fruit in a food processor (one at the time!) and purée until smooth. That’s it, very simple, shockingly deliciuos and also very healthful!
In the banana ice cream, you can also add other ingredients such as raisins, grated coconut, carob flour, crushed hazelnuts, or whatever your fantasy suggests…
Beware: it is addictive!
I love the colours, amazing pic :=)
That’s smart!
Hi, Your photo looks really delicious and such a simple healthy idea. Just want to make sure, the fig and banana ice creams are blended separately, not together?
William
Yep, I think they are to be blended separately
That’s really good and figs and banana must suit very well the purpose as they’re not that watery. I’ll do it very soon – maybe with bananas and some additions as you suggested. Thanks!
