Happy Tuna Slices
I used to make these with Tuna fish but now that I am vegan I make these ina a different way, still very tasty.
Ingredients
200g plain tofu
2 tablespoons capers or guerkins
5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 pinches of salt
2 tablespoons of apple vinegar
mixed pickles
soft white bread with no crust
Method:
Blend all ingredients except pickles and bread is a soft creamy spread. Take a bread slice and spread your pink sauce. Add pickles as shown on the image. Stasrt layering and when you’re done store in the fridge with a weight on top for a couple of hours. When ready to serve, take it out of the fridge and slice it about half an inch thick, using a sharp knife.
