Fried Tofu with Sesame Seeds
These are fun to make: the rectangles are tofu slices and the balls are breadcrumbs and batter leftovers! They were just as yummy 🙂
Ingredients:
250 gr. plain tofu
soy sauce
all purpose flour and chickpea flour
bread crumbs
sesame seeds
dried thyme
Salt & pepper
Method:
First slice the tufu, place on a plate and a drzzle of soy sauce.
Prepare a batter with flour and chickpea flour (more or less equal amounts), water and soy sauce. In another bowl combine bread crumbs, sesame seeds, thyme, salt & pepper.
At this point, dip the tofu in the batter and then in the breadcrumbs. Fry in very hot oil!
