Dukka
Today for lunch I prepared a good hummus (for the first time), but not having the paprika to sprinkle on it, as suggested in the original recipes, I wanted to experiment this mixture of spices that I had prepared a while ago. It comes from Egypt (as sources say in the internet!) and it combines well with cereals, pumpkin … well … try it out and find the best combinations!
Ingredients:
* 1 / 2 cup sesame seeds
* 1 / 4 cup coriander
* 1 / 8 cup hazelnuts
* 1 / 16 cup cumin
* 1 / 2 teaspoon salt
* 1 / 4 teaspoon black pepper
Method:
Toast all the ingredients in a pan and then grind them with a blender. Easy, isn’ t it? And what an exotic flavour!

I’ve met “Dukka” a lot of times in the internet, but I’ve never tried…mmhhh…tomorrow is Saturday…plenty of time to do shopping at the super… :-p
