Tart with Trick
I made a plum jam, but it was a little bitter, and I tried to reclaim it laying a layer of bananas over the pastry. I think it was really good, as this adds a hint of vanilla which combines really well! If I discovered the “hot water”, please forgive me for repeating!
Ingredients:
400g kamut flour
agave juice (more or less about 100gr of sugar)
lemon zest
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sunflower oil
water as needed
home made plum jam
2 small bananas
Method:
Mix flour, baking soda, lemon zest. In the center add oil, agave juice, a little water and form the dough. Put in the fridge for half an hour. Use more than half of the dough to line a cake tin; with the remaining, form the decorative strips, placed on the base after the banana slices (or you can reduce them to a puree with a fork) and jam. Bake in oven at 180 degrees for half an hour or until nicely golden!
The picture is a bit ugly, but the purpose was to show you the bananas …

This is smart!!! You can use this trick to use less sugar in the pastry as well 🙂
