Bean Burger
I copied this recipe from Violante, and I prepared it a while ago, but I can publish it just now.
Ingredients:
1 can of cannellini beans
1 handful of pitted black olives
breadcrumbs
salt
pepper
Method:
Drain the beans from their liquid and crush them with a fork. Add the olives, coarsely chopped with the two handled chopping knife (or similarly); add breadcrumbs to get the right consistency and form small burgers with your hands. Pass it again in the breadcrumbs so that they do not remain sticky outside and place them in a baking tray, lined with baking paper.
Cook in preheated oven at 180 degrees until they are ready.
Note: the quantities given are for two people.
I have seen many recipes for burgers made with beans but this struck me particularly, I had all ingredients available and I decided to try it out. I just changed a bit the ingredients and I made them cook in the oven, instead of frying in margarine. It takes longer to cook, and perhaps are less tasty but I hope they are lighter.

I have never tried in all my vegan life a bean burger whatsoever…weird, isn’t it? I thinks I’ll start with these 🙂
I have not tried yet!! but inspire me a lot!!
the picture is so cool!
I’ve tried several times bean burgers, but I’m not good at all, they sadly fall apart each time. maybe I need a binder such as breadcrumbs as you did here
