Sweet Little Bees
I had seen these Little Bees on the internet and today I wanted to do something pretty…so I tried to reproduce them
Ingredients:
(makes about 20 little bees)
175 gr flour (I used some potato starch as well)
70 gr sugar cane
100 gr plain yogurt
50 gr oil
1 teaspoon baking powder or baking soda + vinegar
salt
orange zest (optional)
pumpkin seeds or almonds for the wings
dark chocolate to decorate
Method:
I mixed all the dry ingredients and then I added yogurt and oil. The dough shouldn’t be stiff, quite the opposite!…I’ve got to wet my hands to form the balls, as they stuck to my fingers.
Form pellets slightly flattened, and insert 2 seeds at the sides (originally wanted to use almonds, but I realized that I hadn’t them! But both of them are fine…and also anything else, if it comes to your mind!) Bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes. Once cool, decorate with melted dark chocolate, using a cone of baking paper to make the lines and eyes … and let them cool.
