Yogurt Cookies

These cookies are very very “dunkable”, I prepared them a long ago (yes, it is evident from the presence of cherries …) as I did want to dunk them in milk …

Ingredients:
200 gr flour
50 gr cornstarch
70 gr vanilla sugar
50 gr soft margarine
125r grams of natural soy yogurt
1 packet of yeast
zest of 1 lemon
a pinch of salt

Method:
Sift flour, starch and sugar, add salt, baking powder and margarine cut into small pieces. Knead the dough like a normal pastry, that is rubbing the margarine with the dry ingredients (better if you do it with a fork), then add lemon zest and yogurt.
Add a little flour if necessary. It will come out as a fairly elastic dough.
Roll it out leaving it rather thick and cut it with the moulds you prefer.
Or, if you have time or want to entertain your children, you can work the molds with your hands … it seems to play with plasticine!! Even I had fun making hearts and flowers … and I’m more than twenty years old :-D! Oh, I almost forgot … taken by the enthusiasm. Bake at 180°C for 10 ‘!
I think I won’t have new recipes for a while and I’ll plunge in the study of anatomy for two weeks … but I’ll follow you here and I think I’ll test your recipe pretty soon, they are always so inviting!
