Green Matcha Tea Ice Cream
I had promised this to Sauro … so, not being able to serve it to him personally, I’ll try and send it by pictures 😉
Ingredients:
400 gr of natural soy yogurt (mine was homemade, yeah!)
2 tablespoon of maple syrup
1 tablespoon of cane sugar
2 dc of matcha green tea
cherries in syrup
The original recipe also included some ground pistachios, but I did it once and I didn’t like the “grains” within the ice cream, but you could put 100 grams, or just as a decoration above.
Method:
Combine all the Ingredients in a bowl. Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker, let it run for about 30 minutes or follow the instructions for your appliance.
I have a Kenwood ice cream maker, so I pour the mixture while the propeller is running, otherwise the mixture immediately freezes and the ice cream comes out wrong, or the propeller gets stuck, while it must immediately begin to spin: that’s why it’s important that the propeller is already in operation.
Considerations
I promised to Mariagrazia that I would have shown her the table (upon which there’s an old recovered lamp, while under it there’s a wood cabinet, with curved recovered drawers ) … so I’ve also added some chairs … they’re just a part of our “street recoveries” and not. The orange armchair and the black one are in sky, original 70s; the last one is an original Arne Jacobsen’s! Can you believe it! : Lol:

Sauro will certainly be grateful!! Everyone would be 😛
…and now I want MY ice cream!!!
Wow, thanks very much for posting this! It is going to help when I research green tea at the market! Super Marvelous!
