Vegan Budwig Cream
This is a super brealfast. It’s a recipe prepared in the Kousmine method. It has an excellent nutritional value, is a complete meal, balanced, highly digestible and gives you the necessary energy to start the day.
It is made of:
Flaxseeds: Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty alpha-linolenic acids, fibers, lignans
Oily seeds: giving you polyunsaturated fatty acids (sunflower, walnuts, almonds..);
1 banana: potassium and soluble fibers, sugars;
1 piece of seasonal fruit: optimal glycemic index carbohydrates, vitamins and fibers;
1/2 lemon: citric acid and vitamins (also bioflavonoids if we use the zest as well);
raw ground cereals: “slow” sugars, auxins, insoluble fibers (oats, buckwheat, barley, rice …)
soy milk, soy yogurt, tofu: protein
Today I made it using the following
Ingredients:
1 glass of organic soya milk
1 organic banana
1 organis pear
1/2 organic lemon
1 cup of nuts (almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts)
2 tablespoons of flax seeds
2 tablespoons of raw organic whole grains (buckwheat, bulgur, farro)
1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
Method:
Wash the pear and cut the banana, put them in the blender with the juice and zest of 1\2 lemon and a glass of soy milk and blend.
Meanwhile, grind the flax seeds and grains in the “mill” or coffee grinder.
Pour the cream into a cup and add the nuts and the seed flour.
Sinking a spoon and enjoy!

I read something about the Kousmine method..and in the end I remember I thought that the Vegan diet is always the best, but he thoughts were interesting. And I remember as well this cream, as I found it delicious! It’s pretty much what we do when we have muesli (at least a good one, such as Dorset cereal, just to say one) with some veg milk, a banana and a seasonal fruit. I love starting my days like this!
That’s interesting
I didn’t know at all this recipe – or better this breakfast, seems really nutritious.
