Promiseland’s Tiramisù

To celebrate the publication of the new version of www.promiseland.it we decided to prepare a tiramisu for lunch (I do not like coffee based desserts, but Renata really likes them and therefore, as usual, women command!)

Before starting describing the recipe for this “small wonder”, I want to spend a few words to thank all the chefs who prepared recipes (and others who, I know, are doing it now) to celebrate the new Promiseland.it.
Maybe I’m getting old, but I find it really moving all this enthusiasm and positive energy around Veganblog.it and Promiseland.it. This is something we should all be proud of, as we all created it with our passion …
But now I wipe my tears, and proceed with the recipe … 🙂

Ingredients:
vegan whipped cream
agar agar
soy milk
curls of dark chocolate
vegan chocolate custard
unsweetened coffee
vegan biscuits

Method:
Whip the soy cream (while whipping it, possibly add sugar according to taste)
Spread a teaspoon of chocolate spread on the bottom of a small ceramic baking cup (preferably cute).
Add on top a biscuit, dipped in unsweetened coffee.
At this point, pour some soy milk in a small pot, with a pinch of agar agar (you decide the amount based on your experience), and let it boil for a few seconds; then add the required amount of whipped cream (depending on the quantity of desserts you are preparing) and mix, making it dissolve until it almost boils.
Now, turn the heat off and pour the cream into the cups, to cover the cookie 1 or 2 cm.

While the cream is stil hot, add a few curls of chocolate, so that they melt but not completely; let them cool a bit and once they’re no longer hot, put the cups in the fridge (covered, so that they don’t absorb any other flavour from the fridge).
The following day will be delicious, but even if you have them an hour later, they will leave you open-mouthed!

To be really posh, decorate the plate with a few grains of coffee …
