Apple and German Turnip Sald

As last year I tried this kind of Cabbage, I really fall in love with it! Could it also be used “cooked” as well, but here in Germany, the most suggest to eat it raw. So…

1/2 Apple
1/2 German Turnip
Poppy Seed
Himlayan Salt
Olive Oil
Lemon Juice
Corn Salad

Prepare the vegetables: German Turnip, Apple and chop them. Pay attention to cut the peel from the German Turnip.Mix all ingredients in a  bowl and prepare the dressing mixing olive oil, lemone juice, salt and pepper.German Tunip and apple creating toghter a powerfull taste. The proof of the “veg-pudding” is in the eating… Enjoy!

This is excellent! I’ve always been curious about salads with apples :-). This must be delicious!
Also, I’m curious about the Himalayan salt…what does it taste like?

Hi Ele! First of all thanks a lot! About Himalayan Salt it’s hard to describe… In my opinion is more salted than the normal one. As I used it to cook I defenitely eat more healthy…

This sounds so good! I just got some Himalayan pink salt, HimalaSalt, from Sustainable Sourcing and I think I’ll try it out in this recipe. Thanks for sharing!
