Baked Apples

I often prepare them, I love cooked fruit in the winter. So prepared they are light, but at the same time, fulfilling.
Can be served as a dessert, they’re  spectacular and delicious!

4 golden apples, organic
jam to your choice (I used a homemade peach + walnuts one )
juice of one lemon
a drop of water

Wash the apples thoroughly and remove their cores with the appropriate tool.
At the bottom of the hole, place the final piece of the core, to prevent the filling “overflow”.
Place the apples in a baking pan.
Sprinkle the insides of apples with the lemon juice.
Distribute two or three teaspoons of jam in the hole.
Pour a drop of water on the bottom of the pan, cover with an aluminum foil and bake at 180°C for 20 min.
You can easily prepare in advance and warm them slightly in microwave just before serving.
Personally, I prefer to bake 4 of them and use in two days.
I try to optimize the use of the oven.

Forgive me for the quality of photography, artificial lighting has distorted colors slightly…

    these look delicious! I don’t like too much baked apples, but these are interesting 🙂
