Sweet Kisses
I gave these delicious cookies as a birthday present a few days ago, they’re are simple to do and one leads to another …
Ingredients:
100 gr of flour
100 gr of margarine
60 gr of sugar
60 gr of ground almonds
60 gr of chopped hazelnuts, with their skins
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt
plain chocolate
Method:
Mix almonds and hazelnuts (if they’re still whole, grind them). Add sugar, flour, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Knead the mixture with butter and roll it into pellets, the size of a cherry, and place them on a baking tray, lined with baking paper. Place the tray in the fridge for about two hours (this will avoid the pellets become flat medallions while baking).
Once they hardened, bake them at 170 degrees for 15/17 minutes (I have a convection oven and it is also a bit slow, so it’s always best to check; however, they shouldn’t get brown).
Let them cool, and join two cookies together with melted dark chocolate (alternatively, I sometimes boil half dl of vegetable cream and add, stirring, the chocolate plus a
tablespoon of icing sugar).

The dough must be deliciously fragrant. I love the idea to add hazelnuts and almonds to the pastry, it surely comes out very tasty.
