Star Cookies


I think the combination hazelnuts and chocolate is toooooo good!

225 gr of flour
25 gr of cocoa powder
40 gr of ground hazelnuts
120 gr of margarine
120 gr of brown sugar, powdered, with a tablespoon of cornstarch
1 tbsp of water
dark chocolate and hazelnuts to decorate

Prepare the pastry by putting in a food processor all the dry ingredients first: I put first the spoonful of sugar with cornstarch, then nuts, flour and cocoa. Add the margarine, cut into pieces, and finally water.
Let the pastry rest in the fridge for half an hour.
Roll the pastry out (not too thin) and cut it into star shape with a cookie mold
Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.

    How cute! I would put just a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg to make them more Christmassy, but they’re perfect 🙂
