Bread with Rasisins
This beautiful, soft, sweet bread, with a nice crispy crust, is great as a breakfast or a snack. It’s really easy to prepare, just try it!
Ingredients:
200 gr of sourdough
500 gr of flour
300 ml of water
100 grams of raisins
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of oil
Procedure:
After refreshing the sourdough, place all the ingredients in a bowl and knead to get a dough soft but not sticking to your hands. Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rise until doubled in volume (I put it in the oven – switched off, of course – for half a day or all day). After rising, shape the dough in a ball, working it as little as possible; place it on a lightly floured baking sheet, cut into the surface and bake at 200°C in preheated oven. Remember to put a small steel bowl full of water at the bottom of the oven, to ensure a proper humidity grade. The bread will be ready in 30-40 minutes, and will keep for five to seven days in a paper bag

I love cakes made of bread dough… especially if made with sourdough. Which unfortunately I don’t have 🙁 maybe the time has come to prepare a nice sourdough!
Must be delicious! reminds me Tuscan (siennese) Pancosanti! There’s a recipe here for it. Anyway, looks so good 🙂
