Chocorange Cream!
Ingredients:
250 ml of soy milk
50 grams of cocoa powder
3 generous teaspoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder + vanilla powder
50 gr of margarine
1/2 cup of soy cream
1 orange
Method:
Cook the milk, combined with sugar and baking powder, on a low heat for a few minutes, stirring with a wooden spoon. Cut the orange into halves, pour the juice (preferably filtered through a sieve) of one half in the mixture and add the other half, cut into strips. Turn the heat off, cover the pan and let it cool for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove the orange slices; add soy cream and margarine over high heat – I advise you to mix using a whisk. Once the margarine has melted, add the cocoa and mix vigorously (watch out for lumps) until it reaches the consistency of a cream … Et voila! Let it cool … If you can, I was polishing it all off … Ah! If you have a bit of cinnamon, do not hesitate to add it 😉 … I’ve just filled croissants, or better puff pastry cut as a croissant, for tomorrow … the rest is in my tummy…ops, in the fridge!
