Breakfast Granola
With a nice cup of vegetable milk is my favorite breakfast.
Ingredients:
90 gr of chopped mixed nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, pine nuts)
30 gr of mixed seeds (pumpkin and sunflower)
150 gr of chopped dried apricots
20 gr of barley flakes
150 gr of oatmeal
25 gr of corn malt
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Method:
I mixed nuts, seeds, apricots, barley flakes and oatmeal in a bowl, mixing them well. Then, I heated the oil with corn malt in a saucepan, I added it to the mixture and stirred well again. I laid the mixture on a sheet of baking paper and I baked at 130°C for about half an hour, stirring quite often. The mixture has to get slightly brown, but shouldn’t get burnt, therefore check it often. I let it cool and placed into a glass jar with a lid to keep it crisp. Excellent !!!!!

This is excellent! It’s a good “base”, then you can add wherever you want… I mean, banana chips, sultanas, chopped dried dates, chopped dried apples, coconut flakes… and I could go on for a while, you know 🙂
I could never live without granola… it has such a lot of combination that every spoonful doesn’t taste like the other
