Potatoes and Broccoli in a Row

This time I didn’t let pass too much time…
I’m back again with a recipe very simple but good 🙂
I had to finish some broccoli, I steam-cooked them with some potatoes but their taste was rather insipid.
You know.. when you’ve got broccoli which doesn’t taste of anything …
So I said to myself ok, let’s invent something and try to make me like them!

Ingredients:
a plate full of broccoli, steamed
4-5 potatoes, steamed
a cup of vegan white sauce, not too dense
extra virgin olive oil
ginger
paprika
mustard powder
turmeric
salt
pepper
true vegan parmesan (or simply ground almonds)

Method:
Take the steamed broccoli and stir fry them in a pan with oil, salt, ginger, turmeric, paprika, mustard and a pinch of pepper. Let them get flavoured very well, turn the heat off and set aside.
Cut the potatoes into thick slices and flavour them with a little salt and pepper.
Arrange the potato slices and the broccoli sprigs in layers, but vertically, I mean, alternating them in a row.
Pour the vegan white sauce over. Bake at 200°C for about 10min. Then, sprinkle the surface with vegan parmesan and bake them a few minutes more.
Despite being very simple, this dish is really good 😉
