Fake Potato Crisps
Fake because, although they’re not fried, they’re really crispy and less greasy! But, alas, not less caloric!
Ingredients:
potatoes
salt
extra virgin olive oil
Method:
Peel and wash the potatoes. Cut them into thin slices with a mandolin. If possible, try to obtain slices of equal thickness, for an uniform cooking. Arrange them on a baking sheet in single layer.
The bigger is your baking tray, the fewer batches you have to do! Brush them with olive oil and bake at 150/170 degrees in preheated oven until golden brown. Add salt to taste and enjoy!
Warning: it takes much less time to prepare than to eat them!

That’s interesting! I was just thinking about something similar actually, perhaps marinating the slices before baking them, in some salt and vinegar to make them more interesting
