A Trick for Very Crisp Potatoes

This is the recipe for roast potatoes always used in my family. It’s a simple process that makes roast and fried potatoes deliciously crisp!

Ingredients:
(serves 3)
1 kg potatoes
extra virgin olive oil
salt
garlic
rosemary

Method:
Peel the potatoes and rinse them under running water, cut them the size you prefer; place in a colander and salt them.
Let them stand for 15-20 minutes with salt. Doing so, the salt will remove the excess of water from the potatoes; and this will make them nice and crispy. Then, place them in a baking dish, sprinkle with extra virgin olive oil to taste, chopped garlic and rosemary or other herbs you like. Bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes (until they become nice and golden).
Remove from the oven and enjoy 😉
