Mom’s Stuffed Tomatoes

These beautiful tomatoes were created by my mom, who also took care of the presentation ­čśÇ

Ingredients:
100 gr of Thai rice
1 package of tofu (about 250gr)
4 large tomatoes
basil, in abundance
1 / 2 clove garlic
salt
pepper
extra virgin olive oil

Method:
Boil the rice for 12-15 minutes, then drain and season it with salt, pepper and oil. Cut the “head” of tomatoes, “scrape” out the inside to remove the pulp and place them upside down to drain. Meanwhile, cut the tofu into cubes and place them in a pan; fry them with the minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper and cook until nice and golden. Add the tofu to the rice, also adding basil, and fill the tomatoes. Bake them┬á in a preheated oven at 200 Celsius degrees for half an hour!

(I would like you to notice the apple-shaped plate as well, although I haven’t taken good picture of it)
