Chromatic Pellets
The sun came out just at lunchtime: I didn’t feel like turning the stove on, so … trouble-free solution.
Ingredients:
seitan or tofu leftovers
a few tablespoons of tomato paste
some teaspoons of harissa
salt
pepper
oil
poppy seeds
herbs from the garden
fennel seeds
curry
Method:
Couldn’t be easier: I blended seitan with tomato paste, harissa (only for those who love spicy flavours), salt, pepper and oil; with my hands, I made some pellets and rolled them in four different colours: poppy seeds, blended herbs (rosemary, sage and thyme), fennel seeds and curry. They’re really cute also in the warm colours version (curry, paprika, chili, etc.): nice served as an aperitif, perhaps with rice mayonnaise.
And here it is my vertical garden several weeks ago! Despite the gloomy predictions of some jinxas it is still alive: here, there were the first strawberries already and tomatoes were in bloom; now they’re nearly ripe, and everything else is in full production! 8)

This is a great idea… I’d also add other seeds or chopped nuts, but that’s because I absolutely love them and I’d put them everywhere 😉
