Aromatic Breakfast
It’s very simple, but I liked it so much that I decided to share it with you 🙂
Ingredients:
1 / 2 ripe pineapple
about 2 cm of lemongrass stalk
handful of blueberries
zest 1 / 2 organic lemon
Method:
Dice the pineapple, grate the lemon zest, and with a very sharp knife blade, finely chop the lemon grass. Mix everything and let it rest for half an hour or so, then add the blueberries and … have good breakfast! (Or a good dessert if you’re traditionalist and love having breakfast with a vegetable drink and biscuits…pineapple doesn’t ferment; in fact, helps digestion)
Did you know that citronella is an edible plant? I had never seen it, but then I found it in an organic shop in Corsica, just before leaving, and I bought it: it’s excellent for flavouring! Can you tell me whether it can be find here as well?
