Sun’s Bread
Today I felt like preparing some bread, different from the usual, and I created my sun’s bread! I decided to call it just like that, as it’s made of soy flour. Its colour reminds me of the sun, and today is a wonderful sunny day!
Ingredients:
200 gr of soy flour
300 gr of barley flour
1 / 2 cube of brewer’s yeast
enough water
salt (I didn’t use ite!)
Method:
I dissolved the yeast in a bit of water, added the flours and mixed it all, obtaining a dough with quite an elastic consistency. I put it in a bowl, covered with a towel and a blanket: nice and warm! I let it rise for at least 8 hours, since the soy flour contains no gluten, so the barley flour had to work for two! However, the result was good … I put the dough in a plum cake mould and baked for about 40 minutes .. (I used the full power, since I used the gas oven). The bread came out excellent and very soft …. … Yum yum … see you soon.

A great welcome to the sun then! And to your yummy bread 🙂
I’m intrigued by the soy flour. I must try it
