Grilled Peaches…
… with dry and fresh fruit cream! It all started when I purchased a beautiful box of peaches, not quite ripe, unfortunately. Looking at them, I thought I’d find a way to eat them, but do really I have to eat them cooked, with this heat? Nooooo! So this nice recipe was born, particularly tasty thanks to the accompanying creamy … delicious and rich, which could also be eaten alone, but on grilled peaches, my dear… what a sheer bliss!
Ingredients:
2 firm peaches
3 dried apricots
3 dried figs
1 tablespoon of raisins
1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon of almond flakes
1 / 2 banana
a dash of white wine
1 pinch of ginger
1 pinch of cinnamon
Method:
Grill the peaches until they get a nice color and become soft. Prepare the creamy sauce, by chopping figs and apricots. Put them in a saucepan with a little water, along with raisins, excluding almonds and banana. Cook for about 10 minutes, until tender. Sprinkle with white wine and let it evaporate. Once done, let them cool, put them in a blender, with banana and chocolate, creating a fairly thick emulsion . Add almonds, ginger and cinnamon. Garnish the grilled peaches with this creamy sauce, to taste. They’re excellent, and the cream is good spread on bread for breakfast! I’ve prepared a little of it, just to try; but I assure you that increasing the doses, you can store it in the fridge, in a glass jar, and eat it instead of jam; a load of energy, health … and goodness! :-):-)
