Raw-Flower
September, detox month… I tried a raw food diet, but I failed and I had some junk food … 🙂 Anyway… I’ll try again! Meanwhile, here it is a recipe, born to recycle some leftovers of vegetables I used for my centrifugates! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
(serves 2)
1 carrot
1 cucumber
1 small pumpkin
1 stalk celery
1/2 lemon (juice) or 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons of shelled hemp seeds
salt
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon of flaxseeds
turmeric
black pepper
14 cherry tomatoes
Method:
Blend the vegetables and strain the juice (you can drink it while cooking!). Take the “scraps” and blend them with hemp seeds, lemon juice, oil, turmeric (quantity to taste), salt and pepper. Spread the mixture into a mould, wet with a bit of water and sprinkled with flax seeds; level and turn it upside down. Halve cherry tomatoes and arrange them like a flower. If you wish, make the stem with some lettuce leaves. Enjoy!
