Orange Burger
A successful experiment, a way to spend an hour having fun!
Also, it was a good opportunity to try and make burgers with the gadget that Mutti gave me (she hasn’t used it for years :-D). I made two in that way.
Ingredients:
150 gr of millet
4 medium carrots
100 ml of soya cream (see Comment below)
salt
Method:
In a large pot boil millet salted water, leaving it slightly crunchy; and another pot, boil carrots. Drain and blend them, adding soy cream to form a thick cream, that you will add to the millet. Stir well, in order to amalgamate well the mixture and form the burgers. Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes. With these doses, I got four burgers. I’ll bring two of them at work for lunch tomorrow :-D.
Comment:
As for the soy cream, I used SojaCuisine by Provamel, which I bought in a Biomarché in Menton (ah, how can you resist temptations?). I don’t know if you can find it, anyway is very thick and has a neutral taste. In short, a very good product! If you don’t have soy cream, replace it with silken tofu or soy ricotta cheese, add spices you like best, I like to add them “raw” 😉
