Apple Cream
… And when you don’t have time to go to the super and you’ve got two apples only, what can you have for breakfast?
Ingredients:
2 golden apples
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1 handful of raisins and / or various seeds, to taste
cinnamon
Method:
Peel the apples, cut into chunks and place them in a saucepan, over a very low heat, without water. As soon as they’ll release their juice, blend them with a hand blender and add a tablespoon of corn starch, raising the heat so that the cream will curdle. Serve it (piping hot if the morning is cold, cold if the administrator of condominium persists in turning the heating on at night, not environmentally friendly) with raisins, seeds and a sprinkling of cinnamon.
