Lychee Love Potion


You finally met your soul mate and you feel like a little thing in his beautiful hands? Counter attack with cauldron and dragon’s blood …:-) ๐Ÿ™‚

The recipe is dedicated to Enri ๐Ÿ™‚

1 / 2 liter of soy milk
3 tablespoons of cornstarch
1 tablespoon of superfine flour
1 / 2 teaspoon of agar agar
agave syrup
1 pinch of turmeric
1 pinch of ground vanilla beans
1 pinch of salt
2 cloves
lychee in profusion
1 lemon zest (no white part, which is bitter)
Szechuan pepper
1 / 2 cup of port wine or sweet muscat

Prepare the cream by combining the dry elements, then slowly add cold milk and agave syrup (I would suggest to stay low with the doses, so you can overdo that of the lychees). Bring it slowly to a boil and simmer a few minutes, then pour it in a bowl.

Apart, mix the wine (use port if you want a red colour) with the agave syrup (for a more distinctive flavour, use malt), cloves and Szechuan pepper (yes, you can use this one only, as it has a delicious lemon aftertaste), then peel the delicious lychees and cook them slowly in the wine, to get a fragrant syrup.

To serve it, you can create a contrast between cold cream and hot syrup, or serve it all cold – have a good tasting ๐Ÿ™‚
