Chocolate Bonbons

Actually, I shouldn’t take a stab at recipes like these…but sometimes we must bend the rules, though these week I have made already lots of exceptions, like the Vegan Cake I had at the beginning of the week, and many other things, until these chocolate bonbons. 🙁 Well, I can’t help it! I assure these chocolate bonbons are extremely simple to make, as well as extremely delicious! 😀

7 dry figs
10 whole walnuts
1.75 oz extra dark chocolate
1 tablespoon of malt syrup

You can start shucking the walnuts, adding all the figs and the malt syrup, so to make a sticky mixture, with which you need to mold little balls, leaving them aside for a while so to make them harden. Finally, you have to melt the chocolate in a water bath and, once it is completely melted, you can brush with it all the pralines, so to cover them with a dark chocolate crust. Leave the pralines in the fridge for half a hour to cool down, and your chocolate bonbons are ready to be tasted!

Unfortunately, I hadn’t got enough chocolate left, in case you want to make a thicker crust, you just need to use 3.5 oz of chocolate in total.
This is the inside of a bonbon…

…the inside again!

Have a nice day! 🙂
