Fusilli Pasta with Apples
Ingredients:
(serves 2):
200 gr of wholewheat fusilli pasta
1 small red apple
15 gr of walnuts
1 tablespoon of wholewheat flour
30 gr of margarine
1/2 cup of soy milk
powdered ginger
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
pepper (preferably green)
poppy seeds, to taste
salt
Method:
In a pan, heat the margarine and add the chopped apple slices, coarsely chopped walnuts, cinnamon, ginger, poppy seeds and a tablespoon of flour. Stirring well, add soy (or oat) milk; add salt and pepper. Let it cook approx 10 minutes over a low heat, until the sauce gets smooth and creamy. Meanwhile, cook the fusilli pasta in boiling salted water, and once drained pour it directly into the pan and let it flavour. Now, garnish with apple slices and poppy seeds and serve hot.
Delicate, healthy and great for these cold days 😉
