Super Gomasio
Easy peasy! I wanted to prepare a homemade version of gomasio, richer and tastier.
Ingredients:
sesame seeds
sunflower seeds
flaxseeds
poppy seeds
salt
mixed dried seaweed
Method:
For the quantities, I haven’t weighed anything; however, the main ingredient is still sesame. Toast all the seeds in a pan for a few minutes, until they get a little coloured but not burnt. Once ready, add salt and seaweeds. With the right equipment, finely grind all the seeds. I have managed to do it with a hammer, because unfortunately I had nothing. I put them in a bag and started to beat them with the hammer, with Nicola and his plastic hammer! 😉 They’re great as a dressing for salads, bruschettas, sauces, pastas and anything you want. I put it anywhere. It’s an excellent food, rich in vitamins, minerals, protein and omega 3. Excellent also to be added to children’s dishes 😀

looks really good – too bad I sort-of hate seaweeds, all of them.. this could be a good way to try them though!
I love gomasio, this one looks excellent!
Thank you soo much!
