Chickpea Sea

Chickpeas meet the sea… A mouth-watering and tasty paté, excellent on toasted bread, to fill rolls and sandwiches, on pasta, seitan slices or to accompany raw vegetables …

1 cup of boiled chickpeas
1/2 sheet of nori seaweed
1 slice of fresh garlic
1 tablespoon of salted capers
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
fresh oregano
fresh lemon thyme
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

Toast the nori seaweed on the heat and rinse the capers. Put the chickpeas in a container with a little cooking water and all the other ingredients (except for salt which you’ll add only at the end to your tastes). Blend everything to get a smooth sauce. Transfer to a bowl and serve as the imagination suggests you! 😉 Here’s another shot …
