It’s a common myth about veganism that it is an expensive diet, but just stop to think about it… what costs more, spaghetti with a nice tomato sauce, a basil leaf and some olive oil or a meat-based dish?
Vegan cooking is not as expensive as someone would think it is. Vegan cooking favours fresh and seasonal produce, generally less pricey.
Perhaps you will have to spend a little more time in the preparation of your meals and unfortunately this does not match with modern life, but it certanly is a good chance to take some time for yourself and your ethical ideas.
So unless you buy the processed freezer-shelf junk from the supermarket, eating vegan is not only the healthiest choice you can make but it’s also the cheapest!
